Ben Higgins revealed on his "Almost Famous" podcast that the new season of The Traitors might not be coming out anytime soon. He mentioned that filming for the third season has not even started yet. In fact, it will be a while before the cameras start rolling.
Higgins and cohost Ashley Iaconetti were discussing the topic of Traitors while speculating about former Bachelor contestant Ryan Sutter's cryptic Instagram posts regarding his wife, Trista Sutter. Ryan, 49, recently shared a black-and-white photo of Trista, 51, expressing his hope that absence will make the heart grow fonder. The next day, he mentioned that Trista was not with him and their children, Maxwell, 16, and Blakesley, 15, on Mother's Day.
Higgins dismissed the possibility of Trista appearing on The Traitors or Special Forces, another reality show popular among former Bachelor Nation stars.
"Higgins doesn't believe she's part of the Special Forces. He pointed out that she has interacted on Ryan's posts, spoken to Ryan and Trista over the phone, and even replied to one of their text messages. According to him, if she was in the Special Forces, she wouldn't be responding to text messages."

Ryan shared on Saturday, May 18, that he writes whatever is on his mind in the moment. He expressed that he writes his feelings honestly, without trying to deceive or mislead anyone. His main purpose is to process his thoughts and hopefully offer some guidance to others in their own lives.
The former reality star, who married Trista in 2003 after meeting on The Bachelorette, mentioned that his wife is doing well. He also assured fans that their relationship is still solid and going strong.
He mentioned that Trista is currently in a phase of self-discovery. An opportunity came up that could aid her in this journey, and with the support of her family, she decided to pursue it. As a result, she is temporarily unavailable to us, and we miss her dearly.
Peacock’s Traitors had Arie Luyendyk Jr. and Peter Weber in the first and second seasons respectively. The reality show, hosted by Alan Cumming, was renewed for a third season in February. However, details about the new cast have not been revealed yet.
