Jared Woodin from Below Deck is having a tough time on the boat. In a recent episode that aired on March 4th, Jared had a rough start to the charter when he called the provisioner for blue and white deck towels. The provisioner found this request to be challenging. During the episode, Jared also faced insults from a guest, adding to his struggles on the boat.
One day before the charter, Jared called the provisioner to check on the towels. The woman informed him that they were unable to find the specific towels he wanted on the island of Grenada.
She explained, "It's not easy to find the exact model and color you are looking for." Jared insisted, "I just need towels. There must be towels available on this island, whether white or blue."
The offscreen provisioner was not happy with Jared's response.
She suggested, "If you could be more professional and friendly in your tone, I believe it would be more effective. It feels like we are arguing on the phone, but I am here to assist you."
Jared tried to apologize to the provisioner, but unfortunately, he couldn't secure the towels. Later, during a confessional, Ben Willoughby expressed his frustration by calling the bosun a “f—king d—khead” after observing Jared's struggles during a phone call.

Later in the episode, Jared got emotional when a drunk guest told him it was a good thing he was attractive because he had “nothing else going” for him.
Jared opened up to the cameras, expressing how a guest's comment brought back memories of feeling inadequate as a child. He admitted to being hard on himself and struggling with self-worth, leading to tears on the boat.
In a sneak peek for the March 11 episode, it was revealed that Jared's future on the boat may be in jeopardy. Captain Kerry Titheradge intervened in a tense conversation between Jared and Kyle Stillie, noting Jared's declining mental health and previous attempts to help him.
Kerry expressed concern for Jared's well-being, noting that he seemed to be struggling. As the head of a department, it is important for him to be present and focused on his responsibilities to ensure the safety of both himself and the guests.
Jared confided in Kerry that a major source of his stress was his inability to communicate with his daughter.
Jared, who shares a young child with his ex, expressed his concerns about only having two times a week to talk to his daughter. He emphasized the importance of sticking to the schedule in order to maintain communication. Building trust again and consistency are top priorities for him.
Having never met his child before, Jared highlighted the significance of the scheduled calls. He shared how emotional it was for him when he couldn't reach his daughter last night, as Tuesdays and Fridays are the designated days for their conversations. Not having phone service made the situation even more challenging for him.
Kerry offered resources to Jared, saying, "If you need to call someone, come see me. Work through everything you have going on, but remember, you are the boss on the boat. Hold yourself to a higher level."
Before season 11 premiered on Bravo, Kerry exclusively told We that not all the cast members will last.
"I joked with Us in February that this season might have set a new record for firings," he said before sharing his thoughts on Jared and Ben's conflict. "There seems to be a power struggle going on between Jared and Ben. I didn't realize how serious it was until I watched the first episode."
