In Act 1 of Baldur's Gate 3, players have the opportunity to assist Arabella, a young tiefling. Arabella steals an idol from the Druid Grove and faces threats from its leader. Completing this quest allows players to encounter Arabella again in Act 2, where she unfortunately finds herself in trouble once more.
During the events between acts, Arabella travels with the tiefling refugees. Unfortunately, their situation is difficult overall. Arabella becomes separated from the tieflings who manage to escape to the Last Light Inn, as well as those who are captured. Consequently, the only way to find Arabella in this part of Baldur's Gate 3 is by encountering her in the wilderness.
Where to Find Arabella
Arabella can be found on the west side of the Shadow-Cursed Land region. She is located in the area where the Shadow Curse is particularly strong, so players of Baldur's Gate 3 who wish to locate her should equip either a Moonlantern or the Pixie's Blessing for protection.
More specifically, Arabella awaits the party at the southern entrance of the graveyard. This spot is situated east of the House of Healing, west of the Mason's Guild, and north of the town square, where a prominent statue is located.
Where to Find Arabella's Parents
Arabella's unexpected presence in a hostile environment comes as a surprise to players. Little do they know, she has gained newfound abilities after coming into contact with the druids' sacred idol during the previous act. Arabella finds herself in this area, searching for her missing parents. However, if the party aided her in previous endeavors, she will graciously step aside and allow them to take charge. Rather than heading to the Last Light Inn, she insists on joining the party at their campsite. It is important for players to let her go to the campsite, as this is the crucial first step in embarking on the upcoming quest.
Arabella's parents, Locke and Komira, are located nearby at the east wing of the House of Healing, just west of Arabella's current position. Please refer to the map below for their precise whereabouts.
Looking after the two tieflings is Sister Lidwin, an undead resident. However, it is worth noting that the tieflings are already deceased. In Baldur's Gate 3, players have the option to roll a Sleight of Hand or Deception check in order to persuade Lidwin to sell them healing supplies. It is important to mention that this action is not mandatory for the completion of the quest.
Instead, players are required to make their way to camp, where they will find Anabelle socializing with Withers. Upon receiving the news, Anabelle reacts unfavorably, prompting players to take a rest before being able to communicate with her again. Once they finally do, Anabelle will have calmed down enough to generously reward the party with the Shadow Blade Ring, a magical artifact enabling the wearer to cast the second-level spell Shadow Blade.
Furthermore, as the story progresses, Anabelle will impart her knowledge of Anabelle's Shadow Entangle to the main character. This unique version of Entangle is specifically designed to ensnare undead and shadow creatures, making it particularly valuable in this area. Additionally, its usage does not deplete a spell slot since it does not affect party members who are not classified as either undead or shadow creatures.
Baldur's Gate 3 is available now on macOS and PC.
