She will be forcefully thrown into a tree and if Astarion is present in the group, he will remark on Timber being completely shattered. The dialogue is amusing, so players who wish to get rid of Timber should rearrange their party to include Astarion first. However, this results in unfortunate consequences for the hapless Timber.
Have someone proficient in Nature and Animal Handling checks handle Timber as these checks will be consecutive. Once the first check is successfully completed, the character can attempt to Intimidate Timber, but it is important to note that this will not lead to a friendly relationship.
When playing with friends, one of them can take charge of these tasks. The second confirmation may seem unfriendly, but it's simply a way to ensure that both the player and Timber communicate and share the space effectively. After a salute from Timber, the character and the squirrel become companions.
Baldur's Gate 3 is currently accessible in Early Access on PC and will be released on August 3rd, 2023. The PlayStation 5 version will be available on September 6th, 2023, and an Xbox Series X/S version is currently in progress.
