How To Clear The Shadows In The Chamber of JusticeChamber of Justice Puzzle Solution
In Act 3 of Baldur's Gate 3, players who venture into Wyrm's Rock Prison in search of the dragon Ansur will encounter a series of tests to prove their heroism. Among the four Chamber puzzles in the Wyrmway, the Chamber of Justice stands out as the most perplexing and difficult.
Within the chamber, a spectral Judge presides over three shadowed paintings, surrounded by a wall of paintings depicting the tale of a thief. Each painting is labeled and accompanied by a description narrated to the player. It is the player's task to decipher the method of surpassing the Shroud of Dark Justice and select the correct painting to proceed.
How To Clear The Shadows In The Chamber of Justice
The Chamber of Justice is situated on the left side of the entrance to Ansur in the Wyrmway. Within this chamber, there are paintings narrating the tale of a malefactor. To demonstrate their sense of justice, players are required to select the appropriate punishment for the criminal's offenses.
Regrettably, the paintings depicting the punishments at the heart of the room are enveloped in a cursed shadow, rendering them ungraspable. Although players can still "Examine" these paintings to obtain a basic description, they are unable to interact with them.
Chamber of Justice Puzzle Solution
To easily cleanse these paintings and eliminate the shadows on each central artwork, players can employ the Remove Curse spell on the Judge. This will instantly restore the paintings to their original state. Consequently, players will not only have the ability to interact with each painting and listen to the narrator's description but also have the option to physically pick them up.
In order to solve the Chamber of Justice puzzle, players are required to position the painting that portrays the appropriate penalty for the thief shown on the wall, into the Empty Niche. The degree of severity for each penalty varies significantly, and different punishments may appear suitable depending on personal perspectives.
"The punishment illustrated in 'The Cell' for imprisoning the thief is the appropriate choice for the Chamber of Justice. Although the thief may not be inherently malicious and seems to have stolen mainly for the well-being of others, the act is still considered a crime. It appears that Balduran, a true Hero, would not easily grant complete forgiveness for such an offense.
To proceed, retrieve 'The Cell' and engage with the Empty Niche to access a merging menu. Include the painting in the vacant space and click on 'combine' to finalize the construction of the Chamber of Justice."
Baldur's Gate 3 is available for PC and PlayStation 5. A version for Xbox Series X/S is currently in development.
