Larian Studios has recently provided new statistics on player engagement with its popular RPG Baldur's Gate 3, which has been available for over four months. The developer has shared updates on the game's most popular romances, classes, and races, and has also revealed that a surprising number of players have been transformed into a sentient cheese wheel.

In fact, 1.24 million players have experienced being turned into a cheese wheel by a djinni with skills in cheesemancy. This number is remarkably close to the 1.3 million players who have completed the game. If you're curious about how this can happen, you can find more information in our guide here.

The latest post has updated some of the stats following the game's launch weekend. Despite Paladins remaining the most popular class and Clerics the least popular, the gaps between them have significantly narrowed. Githyanki have surpassed Dwarves, Gnomes, and Halflings, no longer being the least played race, indicating a preference for taller characters among Baldur's Gate players. Elves have taken the lead as the most popular race, replacing Half-Elves. Additionally, the number of times Scratch has been petted has now exceeded 48.5 million, a significant increase from the 750,000 times during the launch weekend.

Regarding romances, Larian disclosed that Shadowheart is the top choice for romance, followed by Karlach and Lae'zel. The new stats also revealed that 66% of players who chose to romance Halsin preferred his human form to his bear form.

Larian has shared some exciting information about its challenging new Honor Mode. With over 158,000 playthroughs started, more than 34,000 players have met their demise. Surprisingly, 464 individuals have managed to complete the game in Honor Mode in less than a week since its release.
