According to Gabby Windey, blondes may be associated with having more fun, but red hair might be the way to go. The 32-year-old recently spoke exclusively to We magazine, discussing her personal experience with hair color and also her collaboration with Cupshe. This holiday capsule collection includes a range of party-ready styles for women, such as dresses, blouses, and accessories.
"This is my natural hair color," Windey stated, referring to her current sun-kissed strands. Throughout her appearance on season 19 of The Bachelorette, the TV personality was recognized for her brunette hair. However, she revealed that prior to her time on The Bachelor, she was blonde. Keeping her hair dark presented some challenges, as her roots would grow out and appear gray. In an episode of Bethenny Frankel's "Just B With Bethenny Frankel" podcast on August 30, Windey disclosed that she was allegedly prohibited by producers from dyeing her hair during filming. She further expressed her inclination to experiment with her hair and hinted at the possibility of going red in the future, assuring that it will be a surprising change that everyone should anticipate.
Furthermore, Windey openly talked about her evolving hair color, stating, "Currently, I'm fully committed to being a blonde. I have a scheduled appointment [this month] to lighten my hair even more, until it becomes damaged. Once that happens, I'll make a change. Initially, everyone may dislike it, but eventually, they will come around."
Moreover, Windey also delved into her relationship with writer and comedian Robby Hoffman.
"I believe the greatest aspect is that we are both females," Windey expressed to Us. "We share a deep bond as best friends and can engage in lengthy conversations. Our perspectives align, and we have similar life experiences. This relationship feels truly ideal, where friendship takes precedence while also harboring a connection and attraction. It's difficult to imagine anything better than this."
In August, Windey disclosed via Instagram that she is currently in a relationship with a woman. After participating in Clayton Echard's season of The Bachelor, Windey went on to co-lead season 19 of The Bachelorette and briefly became engaged to Erich Schwer. However, the couple ended their relationship in November 2022, barely two months after Schwer's proposal was aired on the Bachelorette season finale.
"I understand that many of you have been curious about my dating life, although it's challenging for me to reveal everything at once," Windey shared in an Instagram Story video on August 2. "As someone who enjoys sparking conversations and playfully teasing, I wanted to wait until I felt prepared to have this discussion since it involves an important subject: I am currently in a relationship with a woman."
