Reese Witherspoon's daughter, Ava Phillippe, unexpectedly showed up at the Golden Bachelor finale on Thursday, November 30th. One viewer questioned on X (previously Twitter), "Am I losing it or is Reese Witherspoon's daughter at the golden bachelor finale???" and shared two photos of someone who appeared to be Ava, 24, in the crowd.

ABC executive Robert Mills was quick to weigh in and confirmed Ava was indeed in the crowd.

“This is her,” he wrote. “Her mother Betty is here as well. #TheGoldenBachelor.”

Mills was referring to Ava’s grandmother and Reese’s mom, Mary Elizabeth “Betty” Witherspoon.

Other Golden Bachelor viewers couldn’t get over who Ava was sitting next to.

"Could that be Ava Phillippe sitting next to Joey on #TheGoldenBachelor?" wondered one social media user, alluding to the upcoming Bachelor, Joey Graziadei. "Is that Ava Phillippe (Reese Witherspoon's daughter) next to Joey?" asked another. A third commented, "I'm curious why she's there and why she's sitting next to Joey." #GoldenBachelor

The grandmother and granddaughter duo, along with other Bachelor Nation members such as Charity Lawson, Zach Shallcross, and Rachel Recchia, attended the historic Golden Bachelor live finale to witness Gerry Turner's quest for love come to an end. At 72 years old, Gerry is ready to present his final rose to either Leslie Fhima or Theresa Nist.

Almost declining ABC's first offer to be the franchise's inaugural Golden Bachelor, the Indiana native's quest for love has captivated fans.

"Before the show, I sought a lifelong partner, regardless of labels," Gerry revealed exclusively to We in September. "As the show's process neared, I realized I did want marriage, that two-way commitment. So, entering the show, that became my goal."
