The Na'vi language was created by Paul Frommer specifically for the Avatar film series. Despite some similarities to English words, the Na'vi language does not possess the same meanings. Following backlash on Twitter, the official Avatar account removed the post showcasing the Na'vi language.
Avatar's mention of the Na'vi term for courage, "títstew," in the aforementioned post faced ridicule online due to its awkward sound within the context of the English language, leading the account to swiftly remove it. Further updates forthcoming.
