Angela Deem, a star of 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After?, has suggested that she never trusted her husband Michael Ilesanmi's intentions when he came to America. The couple has faced controversy due to their frequent arguments, often resulting in Angela verbally attacking Michael, pushing him, or damaging his vehicle. Angela admitted that she will be responsible for Michael as she signed the affidavit of support for him. She expressed her frustration, accusing Michael of rushing her to help him obtain his license and Green Card as soon as he arrived in America. Angela is convinced that Michael will now attempt to obtain a legal visa, sarcastically wishing him luck in his endeavors.
Angela is upset that Michael has slandered her and lied to her. She believes that something happens with "certain people" that come over to America and begin thinking they are "untouchable" and can't be sent back home. “But if I haven’t anything to do with it, you’re gonna be giving me more than a Green Card,” Angela added. Michael’s CR-1 visa was a temporary Green Card, allowing him to enter the U.S. as a conditional resident.
Angela reported Michael missing on Monday, February 26, 2024, and enlisted the help of the police. She mentioned that he only had $40 on him, but when he was located, he had a burner phone containing photos of his passport, which were used to confirm his identity. The 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? star expressed to the authorities that he felt his life was in danger.
