After discovering the catfish situation, Tyray Mollett is striving to see the positive side. Despite his heartbreak, he reflects on the silver lining, sharing, "I realized that I no longer have to go through the K-1 visa process. I have the opportunity to meet someone nearby instead." At a recent red carpet event for the TLC series, Tyray opened up about his perspective.

Tyray mentioned that his participation in the show aided him in overcoming his shyness and becoming more confident. He stated that he feels significantly improved mentally and physically.

At the beginning of the sixth season of Before the 90 Days, Tyray was involved in a four-year relationship with a woman named Carmella, residing in Barbados. Nevertheless, the producers quickly uncovered that Carmella was not a real person and that Tyray was being deceived by an individual named Christian.

Tyray eventually discovered that Christian had been using pictures of a genuine woman named Sweet Carmella. In order to determine whether there was any potential chemistry between them and whether Sweet Carmella was involved in Christian's catfishing scheme, Tyray decided to track her down in Denver. However, it turned out that she was not involved, and as a result, Tyray and Sweet Carmella did not pursue a romantic relationship.

Tyray explained to us that he and the person he was talking about didn't have any further communication. He found the whole situation to be awkward and preferred to move on from that chapter, despite the person being nice and cool. They had good conversations, but he decided to close that chapter and felt that he had obtained the closure he needed, with his family supporting him.

Although things didn't work out with the real Carmella, Tyray mentioned that he is now completely open to trusting people again. He believes that being honest and transparent in his communication is important, and he will continue to do so moving forward. His experience on the show helped him realize that he needs to be more open and express himself more. It's strange because now he is being urged to put himself out there, which is why he allowed someone into his life. He feels that this experience has made him more open and considers it a positive outcome and one of the lessons he learned.
