Angela Deem has revealed her strategy for 90 Day: The Last Resort following her husband Michael Ilesanmi's affair. "I used to have complete faith in Michael's love for me, but his betrayal has made me question if he ever truly loved me," Angela explains in an exclusive preview for We. She expresses hope that therapy will help them start repairing their relationship, stating, "I understand that miracles don't happen overnight, but I pray that he will recognize his mistakes and seek help. If he does, then maybe we can salvage our marriage."

The reality star reveals that she had already formulated a contingency plan in case Michael did not make an effort to salvage their relationship.

Although she had previously stated that their relationship was finished, she expresses that this recent incident is the final straw because he had never cheated on her before, and she had never expected him to do so. She believes that his apologies are insincere and that he is only sorry for getting caught. She hopes that during their upcoming therapy sessions, he will genuinely feel remorse. She admits that she hates to say it, but she wants to see tears from him during therapy, as she has not witnessed any sign of true remorse from him yet. She emphasizes her seriousness by explaining that she came prepared for the therapy sessions.

In the TLC episode featuring Angela Deem and Michael Ilesanmi, Angela makes an unexpected revelation. Holding up the divorce papers, she asserts, "This is what sets us apart. I have them ready for signing. The divorce will be official since he isn't here to contest it, leaving him powerless. Michael is unaware of my plan, but I'm just one pen stroke away from making it a reality. While I don't actually want to sign them, I have the ability to do so if necessary. However, he should seriously consider doing the right thing and avoiding this outcome."

Angela discussed her triggers, admitting that she had never fully understood the term before. She confessed to being deeply frustrated by her husband Michael's frequent lies, regardless of their scale. In her interview with Entertainment Tonight on August 7, she emphasized that lying, no matter how small, enraged her, particularly when it came from someone she loved. Additionally, Angela tackled the difficulties they faced due to Michael's remote attendance in their therapy sessions.

She expressed, "On one hand, it was absolutely amazing. Just having him there meant a lot to me. However, at the end of the night, it hit me hard when everyone else got to go home or stay in hotels with their partners, while I was left alone. That's when the real trouble started, as I found out that many husbands had been visiting me on my back porch while their wives were sleeping. I couldn't believe what was happening!"
