Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes have a vision of their future together — but coordinating holiday plans is proving to be a bit more challenging.

During a Q&A session on the December 19th episode of their "Amy & T.J." podcast, Robach, 50, and Holmes, 46, candidly discussed their relationship, addressing potential guests for their show and revealing that they entered the relationship with the intention of spending their lives together. When asked about marriage after their cheating scandal, Robach mentioned that it has been considered and stated, "We did not enter this relationship for fun or for, 'Let’s see what happens.' We entered this relationship because we intended on spending our lives together."

The couple has considered the idea of getting married, but they are not in a rush to make it happen. "There's just this unexplainable desire to spend the rest of my life with you," she said. Holmes playfully mentioned that he has a small gift prepared for Robach on Christmas, jokingly adding that he wants to marry her partly because of their ages.

Robach fired back playfully, "Thank you for pointing out the age difference," to which Holmes insisted, "Everyone is aware of that!"

The former GMA3 coanchors were initially linked in November 2022 when they were seen getting close outside of work. At that time, Robach was married to Andrew Shue and Holmes was married to Marilee Fiebig. It was confirmed in October that Holmes and Fiebig had finalized their divorce, while Robach and Shue were legally declared single earlier in the year. (Fiebig and Shue have since started a romance of their own.)

As the holidays approach, Robach and Holmes are mindful of the different needs of their respective children. (Holmes and Fiebig have a daughter together, while Robach has two daughters with her ex-husband Tim McIntosh.)

"I believe many people can relate to this. Everyone hopes for a nuclear, traditional family and dealing with one divorce is already difficult," Robach commented on the podcast on Tuesday. "Handling two divorces is even more complex."

She added, "We want to do what our kids would enjoy, and up to this point, we've followed their lead. There's no rulebook for this. We'll be spending time together over the holidays, although we don't have a concrete plan yet. We're both going to be in New York, and our daughters will be here too, so we'll work it out."
