Amber Rose Says Ex Machine Gun Kelly Regretted Not Treating Her Better

Amber Rose is sharing openly about her previous relationships.

During an interview on “The Jason Lee Show” podcast, the 40-year-old model and rapper discussed her relationship with rapper Machine Gun Kelly. One interesting detail she revealed was that out of all her exes, MGK, who is 33 years old, was the only one who apologized for his behavior towards her.

Rose shared during the episode on Wednesday, March 13, that out of all her relationships, her ex-husband aside, he was the only one who apologized to her. He approached her and acknowledged that she was one of the best girlfriends he ever had and did not deserve to be treated poorly.

Rose then gave a shout-out to MGK for his apology.

Rose has had relationships with several rappers in the past. She first gained attention for dating Kanye West from 2008 to 2010, followed by a relationship with 21 Savage. In 2013, she married Wiz Khalifa and they have an 11-year-old son named Sebastian. However, they got divorced in 2016. Rose also has a 4-year-old son named Slash with music executive Alexander “AE” Edwards, who is currently in a relationship with Cher.

When asked about Edwards’ current relationship on a show, Rose mentioned that she has no issues with it.

"I don't want him. Somebody has to put up with him and it's not going to be me, right?" she mentioned. "So, I'm really glad that he's with her now because it brings stability for my son."

When asked about her past relationships with rappers on the show, Rose joked, "They just can't get enough of me, Jason. What can I say? They really love me. I'm not even actively seeking that."

Rose added that her exes have another attribute in common — they all made the first move.

“That’s how all the s–t transpired from Ye, to Wiz, to 21, to Machine Gun Kelly,” she said.

Kelly, whose real name is Colson Baker, is currently engaged to actress Megan Fox. He previously opened up about his past relationship with Rose, expressing that it was challenging to be with someone who was always in the public eye.

In a 2015 interview with E! News, he shared, "I had no idea what came with [Rose’s lifestyle]. I'd be lying if I said it wasn't a struggle every day. She is one of the most anti-spotlight people, while also being one of the most in-the-spotlight people."

Rose and MGK are still friends, according to Rose herself.

During the interview, Rose opened up about her mental health challenges. She shared that she has struggled with suicidal thoughts, but found that her children and ketamine microdosing have helped her manage her thoughts more effectively.
