Amanda Seyfried and Avantika gave us two Karens for the price of one.
"Karen meet Karen," Seyfried, 38, shared on Instagram on Thursday, January 11, along with a photo of herself and Avantika, 18, striking the signature pose of their characters from Mean Girls, in which Karen claims her breasts can forecast the weather.
The first photo shows the pair with their hands over their hearts and blank expressions as they avert their gaze from the camera. In the second photo, they turn to each other, appearing surprised.
Avantika expressed her admiration for Seyfried in the comments, writing, "Hey, I love you so much!" on Thursday.
Both Seyfried and Avantika attended the InStyle and Lancôme event in New York City on Wednesday, January 10. Seyfried famously played the ditzy blonde in the original Mean Girls movie in 2004, while Avantika portrays a new version of the iconic character in the musical adaptation. Prior to meeting in person, Avantika received a message from Seyfried.

"She's going to be incredible," Seyfried told Entertainment Tonight at the 2024 Golden Globe Awards. "I'm looking forward to seeing you, baby! Keep the legacy alive."
During an interview with ET at the Mean Girls premiere on January 9, Avantika had a heartwarming response to Seyfried's words of support.
"She's so special, I really admire her a lot," she raved. "She's one of my all-time favorite actresses. I really love Karen from Mean Girls and it means a lot to hear her praise. As a young actor taking on an iconic franchise, there is always some level of self-doubt. It's really special and reassuring to hear that from her."
Seyfried is not the only original cast member showing support for the new generation of plastics. Lindsay Lohan, who played the lead role of Cady Heron, attended the movie's premiere and posed with Tina Fey, who reprised her role of Ms. Norbury.
Meanwhile, the OG Regina George, Rachel McAdams, thinks Reneé Rapp’s portrayal of the queen bee is going to be “amazing,” especially when it comes to singing.
