Actress Amanda Seyfried delighted fans of the movie Mean Girls with her amusing Halloween costume. In a selfie captioned "I'm a mouse," the 37-year-old star is seen wearing adorable gray mouse ears. Standing alongside her is another person dressed as a bear, adding to the festive fun. Amanda, who has two children with husband Thomas Sadoski, including a daughter named Nina and a son named Thomas, clearly knows how to make Halloween memorable.

The movie showcases a Halloween scene where Cady Heron (Lindsay Lohan), a new student, discovers that frightening costumes are not the usual choice for teenage girls on Halloween.
"In the typical world, Halloween is when kids wear costumes and ask for candy," she explains in the movie. "But in our world, Halloween is the one night where a girl can dress provocatively and not be judged by other girls. The more daring girls simply wear lingerie and animal ears."
Gretchen Wieners (played by Lacey Chabert), wearing a leather dress and cat ears, shows up at Karen Smith's (Seyfried) place before the Halloween bash. Karen answers the door in a seductive black nightgown with mouse ears. "So, what's your costume?" Karen inquires.
“I’m a mouse. Duh,” Karen says.
YoutubeSeyfried, unlike Karen, chose to match her mouse ears with a comfortable navy sweater. In contrast, Seyfried currently boasts an impressive portfolio, having secured prominent roles in Mamma Mia!, Les Misérables, and The Dropout. However, Mean Girls marked her debut film as she had previously appeared solely in soap operas like All My Children and As the World Turns.
"I believe the reason I was cast as Karen was because I portrayed a similar character in high school to avoid any conflicts," Seyfried shared with Vanity Fair in February. "It was a seamless transition to play Karen, given the similarities between her and where I was in my life at that time. Being only 17, high school was a significant part of my life."
Seyfried acknowledges why audiences still have a strong connection to Karen even after almost two decades. "The reason we adore Karen and find her hilarious is because she is unabashedly honest," Seyfried explained. "Her honesty is both authentic and charming, and she may not be the brightest, but she fully embraces that fact. Every reaction she has stems from her genuine feelings and true self. We all cherish individuals like her because they are trustworthy."
Karen will make her return to the silver screen in January with the release of MEAN GIRLS: The Musical. Although it remains uncertain whether Seyfried will make a guest appearance in the Broadway adaptation, she expressed her optimism earlier this year. Speaking to Entertainment Tonight in February, she acknowledged the enduring legacy of Mean Girls and expressed her desire to reunite with her former castmates, holding onto the hope of a miraculous cameo.
