Amanda Bynes isn’t putting down her podcast mic just yet.
The former actress, aged 37, announced on Monday, December 18 via Instagram Story that the podcast will continue, as reported by Just Jared. This decision came after previously revealing plans to temporarily halt the show. Bynes mentioned seeking advice from "a few friends" after feeling disheartened about struggling to book guests.
"They all encouraged me to persevere. I believe that podcasts simply require time to gain traction and attract a dedicated audience," she elaborated. "I regret making the comment last night about not securing the caliber of guests we had hoped for, as we may very well have them in the future. And the guests we do have lined up are truly exceptional."
In a follow-up post, Bynes revealed the identity of her upcoming guest.
"The gates of podcast guest heaven have opened as we've found our next episode guest," she announced. "His name is Nick Mendez, and he's the store manager at Flight Club in L.A. I'm so excited to interview him."
Bynes and her friend Paul Sieminski launched their podcast on December 9 with tattoo artist Dahlia Moth as their first guest. Just one week later, Bynes took to social media to express that she would put the project on hold unless she could line up some A-List interviews.

"Even though the podcast has been successful and received a great response, I've decided to take a break from it for now," the former Nickelodeon star announced on Sunday, December 17. "We haven't been able to secure the type of guests I'd like on the show, such as Jack Harlow, Drake, or Post Malone."
Bynes hinted that the break was not permanent and suggested that the show might return in the future if popular guests were interested in appearing. "Thank you to everyone who watched, I truly hope you liked it," she finished. "That's it for now!"

Prior to relaunching her podcast, Bynes experienced several challenges in her personal life. In 2013, she was placed under a conservatorship due to mental health and substance abuse issues that led to her hospitalization. Nearly a decade later, a judge ended the conservatorship after Amanda’s mother, Lynn Bynes, submitted a declaration of support for her request to terminate it.
