In a video shared on Instagram on Sunday, March 3, Keys, who is 43 years old, revealed that her son Genesis, who is 9 years old, wanted to send a video to Eilish, who is 22 years old.
Keys shared a funny story about Genesis being pushy during her hair and makeup session for the Super Bowl LVIII halftime show. She mentioned how Genesis asked for Billie Eilish's number and kept bothering her for three days to send a video to her. Eventually, she agreed and Genesis sent the video as requested.
The camera then focused on a video of Genesis, who shared a message for Eilish, saying, "Hi, I'm Genesis and I'd love to be friends. I really enjoy your music and fun fact, I'm Alicia Keys' son. Bye!"
After the video ended, Keys chuckled as she repeated her son's words, "I'm Alicia Keys' son, so..." She included in her message to Eilish, "Someone asked me to send you this video, hoping it brings a smile to your face. How are you doing, beautiful? Sending you lots of love."
