Alec Baldwin and His Wife Contemplating a Dive into Reality Television

Alec Baldwin, renowned actor, ponders a captivating return to television with an unexpected twist, as he and his wife contemplate delving into the realm of reality shows

Alec Baldwin is considering making a comeback to television in an unexpected manner.

On the "Lets Talk Off Camera" podcast, Baldwin chatted with host Kelly Ripa about the prospect of appearing in a reality show alongside his wife, Hillaria.

"When I think about you, Hilaria, and your seven young children - I know you might have reservations, but hear me out - this screams reality TV," Ripa mentioned.

Baldwin disclosed that he and his wife have seriously considered the idea.

"Everything with me revolves around my family," he stated. "In the past few years, I have put in a lot of effort. We started with five kids, then six, and eventually seven. Consequently, I am unable to travel for extended periods of time."

The actor further elaborated that although he had travelled before, it is no longer convenient given that he now requires "12 plane tickets."

"I require 11 nannies for my wife, kids, you know," he mentioned, noting that the business class section on the airplane lacks sufficient seating capacity for all of them. The Baldwins proudly parent a brood consisting of Carmen (10), Rafael (8), Leonardo (7), Romeo (5), Eduardo (3), Lucia (2), and Ilaria (1).

Recalling a trip he took to California a few years back for business purposes, he shared an anecdote about his family's accommodation in a hotel. Four suites were combined to make space for his extended family, providing a humorous moment when he jokingly turned to his wife and quipped, "You do realize we won't be making any profit from this journey, don't you?"

"Here we have the mashed potatoes, priced at $20 for room service. And a diet coke costs $11," he stated. "With the expenses for room service, we'll just about break even on this project I'm working on."

Additionally, Baldwin is the proud father of Ireland, his 28-year-old daughter from his previous marriage to Kim Basinger.

"Every action I take is influenced by my family," expressed Baldwin.

"The shows we have evaluated, the pitches we have listened to, and even the ideas we have shared about our family and the reality show, all have one purpose – enabling us to work and stay at home," he stated. "I have a strong desire to work from home."

Baldwin potentially faces renewed charges in the tragic death of Halyna Hutchins, the cinematographer for the film "Rust" in 2021. During a scene rehearsal, a live round discharged from a gun held by Baldwin, resulting in Hutchins' death and director Joel Souza's injuries.

Earlier this year, Baldwin had the involuntary manslaughter charges against him dropped. Prosecutors stated in a released statement that they were unable to proceed with the case due to the time constraints and the form of the facts and evidence provided by law enforcement. They also mentioned the presence of "new facts" in the case.

In a podcast conversation with Ripa, Baldwin discussed his aspirations for the industry's future approach to utilizing ammunition on sets.

"Thats what Im hoping is gonna happen is theyre going to eliminate ammunition, any kind of ammunition on the set of TV and film," he said.
