Alec Baldwin and wife Hilaria Baldwin have their sights set on a new career venture.

Alec and Hilaria are considering the possibility of developing reality show concepts, according to an exclusive source. The couple, who got married in 2012, would only proceed with a series that accurately portrays their family dynamics and identity. They have a total of seven children: Carmen (10), Lucia (2), Ilaria (13 months), Rafael (8), Leonardo (7), Romeo (5), and Eduardo (3). Alec is also a father to Ireland Baldwin (28), his daughter from his previous marriage to Kim Basinger.

Alec, who has three Emmy awards and three Golden Globes from his decades-long career in show business, recently discussed how his large family has shifted his priorities. During an interview on Kelly Ripa's podcast "Let's Talk Off Camera" on Wednesday, November 1, he explained, "My family is everything to me. Since having five, then six, and now seven children, I find it difficult to be away for extended periods of time."

The actor mentioned that traveling for work has become challenging as he requires "12 plane tickets" to accommodate his large family. He stated that he needs around 11 tickets for the nannies, kids, and his wife. He further noted that even the business class section of the plane does not have enough seats for them.

Alec shared an experience from a few years ago when he traveled to California for work. He realized that he wouldn't earn any money as he had to rent four hotel suites for his family. Feeling desperate, he expressed his desire to work from home. He also mentioned that he and Hilaria have seriously considered the idea of doing a reality TV show.

The Baldwin clan's reality show is expected to authentically showcase their personalities, everyday laughter, and adventures. It will portray the genuine love and quality time they spend together. Alec's favorite thing is being with Hilaria and their children, and those who are around them are aware of their strong bond. They are eager to have a show that truly reflects their essence and highlights what is most important to them.

Alec discussed his reality TV aspirations on Wednesday and also acknowledged the tragic death of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins on the set of his film Rust in 2021. Expressing his desire for industry changes, Alec shared with Ripa that he hopes there will be a complete ban on ammunition usage during TV and film productions.

Alec faced two counts of involuntary manslaughter for carrying the prop weapon loaded with live ammunition that resulted in the tragic death of Hutchins, who was 42 years old.

In April, the charges were dismissed by prosecutors, who explained in a statement that they were unable to proceed with the case within the given time constraints based on the facts and evidence provided by law enforcement in their present state, citing the emergence of "new facts" in the situation.

Alec wrote that there were “no words to convey my shock and sadness regarding the tragic accident that took the life of Halyna Hutchins” in an October 2021 social media statement.
