Adele is excelling in her role as a dedicated parent, particularly because her son Angelo's friends are not at all impressed by her celebrity status. "Now, his school really focuses on community vibes, which is great. The kids don't care," she shared in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter on Thursday, December 7. "They couldn't care less about who I am."

Adele, 35, confessed that she often feels anxious around unfamiliar adults and strangers. However, she has found her son’s school to be an ideal environment, so much so that she happily discusses it while performing on stage.

At a recent Weekends With Adele Las Vegas show, Adele shared that she spent time making "60 chicken kebabs" for her son's class.

During a Hollywood Reporter interview on Thursday, she recounted, "I did it the next day and it went great. I spilled the turmeric everywhere, so it stained my whole kitchen."

Adele and her ex-husband Simon Konecki welcomed their son Angelo, who is now 11, in 2012. Having been a mom for over a decade, Adele mentioned that she has been providing advice to her friends who are "having kids now."

Having a child brings up a lot of one's own childhood experiences. Regardless of whether the past was positive or negative, no one wants their child to have the same experiences. Adele, reflecting on her own upbringing as the child of a single mother, expressed her respect and gratitude for her mother and her ability to provide for her own child even more generously.

Becoming a mom has taught Adele just how challenging "adulting" can be.

"I find it difficult to not let my emotions show when dealing with other things," she confessed. "And I think that’s alright. There are times when I wish I could be more transparent. But being an adult is tough for everyone, no matter the circumstances."

Adele loves being a mother of one, but she's eager to expand her family and has been keeping a list of baby names for when the time comes.
