Actress Nicole Kidman Rocks Natural Curls and Stuns in Leggy Nude Gown at ‘Expats’ Screening in Australia

Nicole Kidman took Us back in time with her hairstyle at a special screening of her upcoming Prime Video series, Expats.

On Wednesday, December 20, the 56-year-old actress made a stunning appearance on the red carpet in Australia, showing off her natural curls. She wore her bouncy hair in a stylish updo, with loose tendrils falling at the back for a shabby-chic look.

In the ‘90s, Kidman sported her naturally curly strawberry blonde locks in films such as Days of Thunder, Far and Away, My Life, and Malice. However, by the 2000s, she began experimenting with blowouts and often wore her increasingly blonde hair straight or in beachy waves.

Kidman confessed to feeling remorse about subjecting her hair to excessive heat throughout the years, acknowledging that the constant styling had caused damage to her naturally coily hair. “Do I wish that I hadn’t damaged my hair by constantly straightening it? Absolutely,” she expressed in an interview with The Sunday Morning Herald in October 2020.

Her curls made a triumphant return that same year in Max’s The Undoing. One fan wrote in the comments section of a post Kidman shared to promote the show, which also starred Hugh Grant, Donald Sutherland, Lily Rabe, and Noma Dumezweni, “I’m loving that your curls are back!!!".

Kidman wowed on Wednesday with her curly hairstyle and a stunning strapless champagne-colored Fendi gown. The floor-length dress had a draped fabric, cinched bodice, and a thigh-high slit to show off her legs. She completed the look with nude pointed-toe pumps and gold jewelry. Later, she posed solo at the event and then cozied up to her husband, Keith Urban, who looked sharp in a pinstripe suit and beige button-up shirt that complemented her outfit.
