Claire Holt and Andrew Joblon happily announce the arrival of their third child, a son. The 35-year-old actress took to Instagram on November 10th to share the news, accompanying it with a heartwarming photo of herself and her 40-year-old husband, Andrew Joblon, at the hospital. The proud parents revealed their son's name to be Ford.
Holt made her first appearance with her baby bump on the red carpet of the Killers of the Flower Moon at the 2023 Cannes Film Festival in May. She then took to social media to share the exciting news, posting pictures of herself at the event with the caption "Me & no 3" on Instagram.
In July 2017, the ex-Vampire Diaries actress disclosed her relationship with the real estate executive, leading to their engagement merely five months afterward. Holt expressed her immense happiness through an Instagram post in December 2017, sharing a picture of the couple sharing a passionate kiss and showcasing her engagement ring.
In August 2018, the couple got married. Prior to that, the woman, who is from Australia, disclosed that she had experienced a miscarriage earlier that year.
"I captured this picture a decade ago, while waiting for surgery after the tragic loss of my precious baby's heartbeat. I shared it with my fiancé in the waiting room to reassure him that I was fine, even though I wasn't. I have never felt more shattered in my entire life," Holt conveyed on Instagram in March 2018.
Less than a year after revealing their previous loss, the newlyweds joyfully announced in October 2018 that their family was soon to expand.
"My heart is overflowing with joy as I share the wonderful news that we are expecting a baby! It still feels surreal. These past few months have been a whirlwind of emotions – excitement, anxiety, tears, happiness, and uncertainty. But above all, I am filled with gratitude. The pain of our previous loss will always be etched in my memory. However, it has deepened my appreciation for the precious miracle growing inside me today," shared the actress from Mean Girls 2 on her Instagram account.
Holt spoke to We four months later about how going through a miscarriage strengthened her bond with her husband. Despite the tragic experience, she expressed gratitude for her partner's unwavering support and willingness to put aside his own pain to be there for her. Holt described it as a beautiful experience that brought them closer together, and while she wished for a different outcome, she acknowledged the valuable lessons learned and the positive impact it had on their relationship.
The pair welcomed their first child, James, in March 2019. Nearly one year later, Holt announced she was pregnant again and gave birth to the pair’s second child, Elle, in September 2020.
