Meghan Markle's close friends, like her former Suits costar Abigail Spencer, are the official taste-testers for her American Riviera Orchard products.
Spencer, 42, shared her love for the jam on Instagram, saying, "This jam is my jam. A delicious preview of what's coming. Love you M."
Spencer, wearing a black dress, relaxed in her backyard with a basket of lemons and a jar of American Riviera Orchard preserves. As she showed off the product, her dog came over and licked her face.
Mindy Kaling commented on Instagram, saying, "This is like an ad for sunshine and happiness."
Meghan, who is 42 years old, shared in March her exciting news about starting a new business called American Riviera Orchard. She introduced the lifestyle brand by creating an Instagram page. (Before marrying Prince Harry in 2018, the Duchess of Sussex had already closed her personal social media accounts.)
On the American Riviera Orchard Instagram page, you will currently find only the brand's official logo. The description reads, "By Meghan, The Duchess of Sussex" and "Established 2024."

We later discovered that Meghan had applied for trademarks for the brand, and they were approved by the United States Patent and Trademark Office. The application indicated that American Riviera Orchard intends to offer cutlery, cookbooks, and jarred foods.
Additionally, Meghan recently sent jars of American Riviera Orchard jam to fashion designer Tracy Robbins and Delfina Blaquier, the wife of Harry’s friend Nacho Figueras, earlier this month. Both Robbins and Blaquier, 43, expressed their delight over the samples on social media.
Robbins expressed gratitude for the delightful basket on Monday, April 15, mentioning that she loves the jam so much that she may not want to share it with anyone. She also thanked M for making her meals sweeter with the treats.
Meghan's brand, American Riviera Orchard, reflects her love for cooking and gardening, which will be showcased in her upcoming cooking show on Netflix. The couple, Harry and Meghan, secured a lucrative deal with the streaming platform to create various movies and TV programs. As per a report in April by Deadline, one of the projects will feature the duchess in a culinary show.

The upcoming show, which is currently without a title, will center around “the joys of cooking, gardening, entertaining, and friendship.” The specific dates for filming and release have not yet been made public. In addition to this project, Meghan and Harry are involved in producing a documentary about polo featuring Figueras, as well as a film adaptation of Carley Fortune’s novel Meet Me at the Lake.
During the New on Netflix press event in January, Bela Bajaria, the streaming platform’s chief content officer, mentioned that Meghan and Harry are collaborating with Brandon Reigg, Netflix’s VP of Unscripted and Documentary, on a couple of unscripted projects. Bajaria also noted that the couple has several other projects in development as well.
