For Philadelphia Eagles coach Nick Sirianni, football is a family affair.

Sirianni, the youngest of three sons, was raised in Jamestown, New York. Under the guidance of his father, Fran Sirianni, he honed his football skills during high school. Continuing his passion for the sport, he joined the football team at the University of Mount Union in Ohio, which marked the beginning of his coaching journey.

In 2009, Nick's breakthrough in the NFL arrived when he secured a position on the Kansas City Chiefs offense, under the leadership of then-head coach Todd Haley. This opportunity not only propelled his professional career forward but also introduced him to his current wife, Brett Ashley Cantwell.

"Meeting my wife in that city will forever hold a special place in our hearts," he told The Athletic of Kansas City in 2023. "In addition, my early career in the NFL was extremely significant. When you have such a profound experience as meeting your wife in a particular city, that place will always have sentimental value to me." The couple now has three children, who have become cherished members of the Eagles family. Keep scrolling to learn more about Nick's wife, kids, and more.

Brett Ashley Cantwell

Nick met Cantwell during his tenure with the Kansas City Chiefs, where he coached from 2009 to 2012. They tied the knot in 2013.

The couple resided in the Kansas City apartment complex prior to their relationship developing. Cantwell, a teacher, mentioned that in 2019, "I didn't recollect him, but he remembered me." She further commented that Nick, who worked with the Chiefs, informed her of his profession, but she expressed indifference.

In 2013, Nick eventually departed from the Chiefs and joined the San Diego Chargers, which posed a challenging decision for Cantwell as she had strong attachments to her home state. She elaborated, "I adored my job. I cherished everything about Kansas City...But I loved Nick more. Thus, it was all worthwhile."

Jacob Sirianni

Nick welcomed his eldest son in 2015 while he was coaching for the Chargers. While Jacob shares his father’s love of sports, he’s more invested in baseball than football.

Nick shared with the Philadelphia Inquirer in 2022 that he had attended a considerable number of games. He excitedly revealed to his wife that he had finally discovered a hobby. Moving forward to September 2023, Jacob accompanied his father and Eagles center, Jason Kelce, to the premiere of the Kelce documentary on Prime Video, which took place in Philadelphia.

Taylor Sirianni

In 2017, Nick and Cantwell welcomed their second child. Over the years, Taylor has become the center of attention at several Eagles press conferences. In January 2023, she gained widespread attention when she playfully imitated her father's facial expressions during an interview leading up to the Super Bowl.

During a press conference in November 2023, Taylor made a delightful appearance right before the Eagles' bye week. When asked about her plans for the break, she playfully whispered her answer in her father's ear. With a chuckle, Nick repeated, "Do you want to have Chick-fil-A?"

Taylor quickly responded, "No, I never said that!"

Miles Sirianni

The couple welcomed their third child in 2020. Miles sweetly sat on his father’s lap during a 2023 press conference with his siblings after the Eagles’ NFC championship win.

Miles used to wear an Eagles jersey as Nick conversed with journalists in October 2022. As the coach commended running back Miles Sanders, his son perked up at the sound of his name. Nick then leaned in to plant a sweet kiss on Miles' cheek.

Nick's parents were almost rendered speechless when he was offered the opportunity to coach the Eagles in 2021. They expressed their immense pride and excitement for their son's "dream" job in an interview with the local Philly outlet WPVI. In part, Nick's NFL success can be attributed to the influence and support of his mother and father. Notably, Fran, his father, dedicated 45 years coaching high school football, including coaching Nick during his time at Southwestern Central High School in West Ellicott, New York. Fran's remarkable career led to his induction into the Chautauqua Sports Hall of Fame in 2018.

Amy and her spouse successfully secured season tickets for the Eagles, prompting them to promptly prepare for the team's battle anthem. "Fly, Eagles Fly," playfully jibed Amy during a recent interview in 2021. "However, I remain unfamiliar with the remaining lyrics and therefore must acquire knowledge of them."

Jay and Mike Sirianni

Like their father, Nick's older brothers have also entered the coaching profession. Jay previously coached at Southwestern Central High School, while Mike currently serves as the coach for the football team at Washington & Jefferson College in Washington, Pennsylvania.

Jay, Nick, and Mike Sirianni are captured in a photograph, which was graciously shared by Mike Sirianni on Instagram. Prior to the 2023 Super Bowl, Nick participated in a joint interview with Mike. During the interview, he fondly recollected moments spent with his siblings, engaging in activities such as playing football together, engaging in tackle football sessions within the confines of their living room, enjoying friendly boxing matches using couch pillows, and playfully hitting each other.

Mike added, “Maybe that’s why the youngest one is supposed to be the toughest, and obviously that’s rubbed off on him and gotten him to where he is.”
