Choose the image that captures the untouched beauty of nature or one that highlights the harmful effects of human activity on the environment. Wildlife photography enthusiasts worldwide are encouraged to vote for the Peoples Choice Award in the Wildlife Photographer of the Year competition.
As always, the prestigious contest includes a section open to the public where they can vote for their favorite from a selection of 25 outstanding images.

The Natural History Museum in London, host of the exhibition, and an international judging panel selected these from a staggering 49,957 entries from 95 countries. The public can now vote for their favorite online, with options such as a pair of seemingly kissing hares, a polar bear sleeping on an iceberg, and an upright grizzly bear in a shimmering lake.
Winners of the 2023 Comedy Wildlife Photo Award have been announced. Among the featured photos is one of an Adélie penguin approaching an emperor penguin and its chick, as well as a striking image of a clothing rack made from some of the world's most endangered big cats.
Additional images that emphasize the adverse effects of human activity on the environment feature a juvenile fox feasting on a overflowing garbage can in London and a male elephant navigating through a pile of trash.
Online voting will remain open until January 31st. The winner and the top four photographs will be revealed in February and showcased both online and at the in-person exhibit at the Natural History Museum.
