The 59th Academy of Country Music Awards celebrated the top artists in country music. The event was held at the Ford Center in Frisco, Texas on Thursday, May 16. Reba McEntire was the host for the evening, bringing her experience of winning 16 ACMs in her career. She not only emceed the show but also treated the audience to a performance of her new music.
Luke Combs leads the pack with eight nominations, including a shot at the highly sought-after Entertainer of the Year award. He faces tough competition from Kane Brown, Morgan Wallen, Jelly Roll, Cody Johnson, Chris Stapleton, and Lainey Wilson.
Following closely behind is Wallen, the reigning artist of the year, with six nominations, while Jelly Roll received four. Leading the female nominees is Megan Moroney, who is up for six awards, including Female Artist of the Year and New Female Artist of the Year.
