Zendaya's Stunning Fashion Moments During the 'Challengers' Press Tour

Zendaya has been dazzling on the 'Challengers' press tour while promoting her latest movie role as a tennis star-turned-coach. Her red carpet fashion choices have been a showstopper - take a closer look at all her iconic looks here.

Zendaya has always looked amazing on the red carpet. But this time, she is really hitting it out of the park.

Lately, she has been busy promoting her new movie "Challengers." In the film, she portrays a former tennis star who becomes a coach. She must juggle her husband's tennis career as he gears up to compete against his old friend (who also happens to be her ex-boyfriend).

Zendaya's fashion choices have always been a unique blend of "method dressing" and personal style. From quirky details like tennis balls on her heels to sophisticated pleated gowns reminiscent of classic tennis whites, her looks never fail to make a statement. Despite gracing the covers of both American and British Vogue, the magazine shoots did not focus much on sportswear.

In an interview with US Vogue, Zendaya shared that she and her long-time collaborator Law Roach draw inspiration from films for her outfits. Whether it's incorporating literal elements like tennis balls in her shoes or capturing the essence of a character, concept, or idea, they aim to tell a visual story through fashion.

Onlookers have grown accustomed to the meticulous attention to detail displayed by the duo. For instance, during the promotional tour for "Dune: Part Two" earlier this year, Zendaya's outfits consistently reflected the essence of the film's sci-fi dystopian world. One standout moment was when she appeared at the movie's London premiere in an archival Thierry Mugler space suit, which exuded both a sense of nostalgia and futuristic vibes.

Roach told British Vogue that she helps him with the big story and idea, then refines it.

At the Paris premiere, she chose to wear a Louis Vuitton outfit once more. This time, she wore an elegant all-white gown. The gown featured a sculpted bustier, a wide belt, and a sheer, layered skirt. It is possible that the train of the gown was a subtle reference to her character as a tennis coach or trainer.

During the press tour for “Dune: Part Two,” Zendaya’s co-stars, such as Florence Pugh, Rebecca Ferguson, and Timothée Chalamet, showed their commitment to the sartorial ‘bit’ by matching her red carpet style. In contrast, for “Challengers,” actors Josh O’Connor and Mike Faist opted for safer choices, mostly sticking to slouchy menswear suits. However, O’Connor made a subtle exception at the film’s London premiere by wearing a white T-shirt under his suit jacket with the phrase “I TOLD YA” printed front and center, a nod to a piece worn by Zendaya’s character Tashi in the movie.

At the Rome premiere two days earlier, fashion designer Jonathan Anderson, who is also the creative director of Loewe and designed many looks in the movie, was spotted wearing his own version of the tee.
