Snyder enthusiastically expressed his interest, stating "Of course!" when asked about the possibility of directing a live-action Fortnite movie. It may still be a long shot, but there is currently no film development for Fortnite, as the game continues to focus solely on its video game aspects with the addition of new modes. However, this could change in the future, especially with the success of recent video game movies such as The Super Mario Bros. Movie and Five Nights At Freddy’s, and upcoming films like Minecraft and The Legend of Zelda.
Snyder still believes that a Fortnite movie could happen, saying "You definitely don't know. You definitely can never say never. That's my mantra in this business."

As a huge fan of both Zack Snyder's work and Fortnite, I am thrilled by the prospect of him directing a Fortnite movie. Snyder's unique visual style and ability to create epic, action-packed sequences would be a perfect fit for the high-octane world of Fortnite. I can easily imagine him bringing the game's iconic characters and locations to life on the big screen, and I believe he could craft a truly memorable cinematic experience.
The success of recent video game adaptations like "The Super Mario Bros. Movie" and "Sonic the Hedgehog" shows that there is a growing audience for these types of films.
