@etalkCTV tweeted on December 15, 2023 that Zack Snyder's fondness for Fortnite is well known. The esteemed director of 300 and Batman v Superman disclosed his fandom during the 2023 Gamescom event, where he was often seen playing as Mr. Meeseeks in the Zero Build mode.

It may still be a long shot, but there is currently no film development for Fortnite, as the game continues to focus solely on its video game aspects with the addition of new modes. As a huge fan of both Zack Snyder's work and Fortnite, I am thrilled by the prospect of him directing a Fortnite movie. Snyder's unique visual style and ability to create epic, action-packed sequences would be a perfect fit for the high-octane world of Fortnite. I can easily imagine him bringing the game's iconic characters and locations to life on the big screen, and I believe he could craft a truly memorable cinematic experience.

The success of recent video game adaptations like "The Super Mario Bros. Movie" and "Sonic the Hedgehog" shows that there is a growing audience for these types of films. A Fortnite movie directed by Zack Snyder could tap into this market and become a massive hit. I hope that Epic Games and Snyder are able to come together and make this project a reality.
