The MCU is filled with unexpected plot twists, surprises, and surprise appearances. One X-Men star has recently expressed confidence in a potential return to the franchise. Despite this, the future of the Marvel Cinematic Universe seems uncertain with a lot of ambiguity about its next direction.
Due to ongoing controversy and consistent backlash from Marvel fans, the studio is considering making new and surprising changes in the near future. One X-Men star is feeling "confident" about returning to the MCU following a recent cameo that hinted at exciting developments to come.
Kelsey Grammer “confident” on X-Men MCU return
According to a new interview with The Wrap, X-Men star Kelsey Grammer is “confident” that his character Beast will return to the MCU.
“It is my hope that you will [see him again],” Grammer told The Wrap. “I can say with a certain amount of confidence that you will. I would love to.”
In The Marvels post-credits scene, Beast was last seen, hinting at a possible storyline for Monica Rambeau (Teyonah Parris) in the future. Upon waking from closing an unstable jump point and finding herself stuck on the other side, Monica encounters a figure resembling her late mother, Marie (Lashana Lynch), who does not seem to recognize her.
The blue figure inquires about the "mysterious visitor," and Maria mentions that she appears to be slightly confused. Monica questions her whereabouts and what transpired, and then the unexpected moment unfolds with the blue figure facing the camera – revealing Hank McCoy/Beast portrayed by Kelsey Grammar from the X-Men movies.
Beast proceeds to acknowledge the X Mansion and Professor "Charles" X, hinting at the possibility that Marie is, in fact, Binary, an alternate version of Carol Danvers/Captain Marvel in the MCU.
The Frasier star's last appearance as the iconic X-Men character was in the 2014 movie Days of Future Past before making a cameo in the MCU. Since then, Grammer has been focused on the reboot of the popular comedy series.
"God dammit I love how he said that," one fan posted on X/Twitter in response, with another adding: "Yes! That's what I want to hear."
"Excited to see Kelsey Grammer back as Beast! His return brings a sense of nostalgia and a lot of sophistication to the new project. Looking forward to his excellent performance once more!" commented a third person.

As an enthusiastic fan, I am thrilled at the prospect of Kelsey Grammer reprising his role as Beast in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. His confidence in returning to the franchise is contagious, and I share his excitement about the possibilities that lie ahead. The X-Men have always been a beloved part of the Marvel universe, and Grammer's portrayal of Beast was a standout performance in the earlier X-Men movies. His charismatic and intelligent take on the character brought a unique charm to the franchise, and I believe his return would be a welcome addition to the MCU.
The mid-credits scene in The Marvels, which featured Beast's surprise appearance, left fans speculating about the character's future involvement in the MCU. The scene hinted at a potential storyline involving Monica Rambeau and the X-Men, which would be a fascinating development. The X-Men have yet to be fully integrated into the MCU, and Beast's return could pave the way for their eventual introduction. The possibilities are endless, and I can't wait to see how Marvel Studios unfolds this exciting new chapter in the MCU.
