Windows 11 Revolutionizes RGB Device Management

Windows 11 is revolutionizing the way we control RGB devices on our PCs With a centralized hub for configuration, users can easily customize their lighting preferences across all components and accessories Say goodbye to the chaotic mess of individual tools and hello to a streamlined, user-friendly experience

PC users often struggle with managing RGB controls due to the lack of a centralized tool, leading each accessory or component manufacturer to have their own configuration software. The good news is that Windows 11 is introducing a new Dynamic Lighting control hub that will make it easier to manage RGB devices directly from the settings page. By providing a solution to the fragmentation issue, this feature will simplify the process of configuring RGB lighting without having to rely on multiple apps. Previously, users had to purchase peripherals and parts from a specific manufacturer or one that is listed as compatible with a specific RGB ecosystem to avoid using multiple apps. With the Dynamic Lighting control hub, such concerns are now a thing of the past.

To truly see an improvement, OEMs need to start collaborating and interoperate with each other instead of sticking to their own RGB ecosystems. Recognizing this, Microsoft has partnered with several OEMs including Acer, HP, ASUS, Logitech, Razer, and Twinkly to create products that are compatible with Dynamic Lighting. While this may not immediately make your current devices compatible, it opens up the possibility for future devices to be easily integrated. Currently available to Insiders, this feature will eventually be accessible to all users.
