The View’s Joy Behar is a Swiftie through and through, but she’s not on board with Taylor Swift dating Travis Kelce.

During the November 19 episode of The View, Behar, 81, along with her cohosts, engaged in a discussion about Kelce, 34. This conversation arose after a collection of his past tweets from 2010 and 2011, predating his time with the Kansas City Chiefs, resurfaced on the internet.

Behar humorously remarked, "To put it more bluntly, he seems to struggle with literacy. His focus was primarily on the appearance of women, that was his main interest."

During a discussion, Whoopi Goldberg questioned Behar's strong interest in Taylor Swift and the NFL star's romantic life. Behar, a dedicated fan of Swift known as a "Swiftie," explained that she admires Swift's ability to engage young people in voting and therefore wishes for her not to be involved with someone she considers to be foolish.

Swift and Kelce were first linked in September, approximately three months after he attended her Eras Tour concert in Kansas City. Kelce had initially tried to give Swift his phone number during the concert in July, but they did not make a connection that evening. Subsequently, Swift attended Kelce's Kansas City Chiefs game against the Chicago Bears, donning Chiefs merchandise and sitting beside Kelce's mother, Donna Kelce, in a private box.

Since then, Swift has attended three additional away games for Travis. In return, Travis recently attended one of her Eras concerts in Buenos Aires. During the three-hour show, the tight end watched from the VIP tent alongside Taylor's dad, Scott Swift.

After Travis experienced a night out at the Argentina concert, where he was honored with a lyric change in his name and ended with a backstage kiss, observant Swifties delved into his past tweets. Prior to his NFL success, Travis often kept his followers informed about his preferred fast food meals and daily routine, occasionally making typographical errors.

Although Behar wasn't impressed with the tweets, her cohosts noted that a significant amount of time has elapsed since then.

"I truly believe that these kids, at that age, their frontal lobe is not fully developed, and they tend to write all sorts of things," Sunny Hostin added, suggesting that Travis has likely matured significantly since 2010.

Goldberg, aged 68, remarked, "Young people engage in youthful activities. And what you said 25 years ago may not reflect your current beliefs. Therefore, everyone should relax and allow these individuals to pursue their desires."

Despite the continuous focus on Taylor and Travis ever since they were initially seen together, their relationship remains unaffected by public interest. A confidential source informed We magazine earlier this month that their bond is becoming increasingly significant.

Taylor Swift and her parents, Scott and Andrea Swift, are reportedly scheduled to attend the Chiefs' game against the Philadelphia Eagles on Monday, November 20, alongside Travis' parents, Donna and Ed Kelce. It is worth mentioning that Travis' older brother, Jason Kelce, is the center for the Eagles team.
