However, there is one notable feature missing from the system that is already present in Blizzard's other popular RPG, World of Warcraft. Despite WoW's extensive skill tree, it allows players to easily change their specialization at any time, a luxury not afforded to Diablo 4 players. It's a surprising oversight from the developers, who might have benefited from taking cues from their own successful title.

In contrast to Diablo 4, World of Warcraft's respec system allows for a more fluid and flexible gameplay experience.

Players can easily switch between three different specializations in most classes with just a click, and each specialization comes with a starter build for those who don't want to experiment with the skill tree. Additionally, players can save up to ten different loadouts and share them with others. While World of Warcraft had not always allowed for this flexibility, Blizzard eventually introduced spec switching after years of community requests, and continued to make it easier with each expansion. However, Diablo 4 seems to be repeating the same mistakes that early World of Warcraft made, rather than learning from past lessons and implementing similar improvements.
