What If…? Season 3 plot – What will happen next season?
The series will build on the original comics introduced in 1977, maintaining its core concept of "Reimagining significant occurrences in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and establishing a multiverse of endless possibilities."
Season 3 of What If...? will continue the format of blending an ongoing series with an anthology show, with The Watcher playing a central role. Marvel Studios producer Brad Winderbaum expressed excitement about delving even deeper into the characters, especially The Watcher, in the upcoming season.
"It's a Multiverse story with standalone elements, but there is also a serialized aspect to it due to the presence of a narrator who deeply admires the subjects of these stories. He is the ultimate fanboy, observing and loving these characters just like all of us. In the second season, we will explore more of what motivates him, and in the third season, we will delve deeper into his humanity."

As a Gen Z fan, I am thrilled about the confirmation of What If...? Season 3. The series has been a refreshing take on the Marvel Cinematic Universe, offering unique and thought-provoking storylines that explore alternate realities and the consequences of different choices made by our beloved characters. The sneak peek clip for Season 3 has only heightened my excitement, with its blend of humor and action, hinting at yet another captivating journey through the multiverse.
I particularly appreciate the show's format of combining standalone episodes with an overarching narrative centered around The Watcher. This approach allows for both episodic storytelling and the development of a deeper mythology within the Marvel multiverse. The promise of delving further into The Watcher's motivations and humanity in Season 3 adds an intriguing layer to the series, making me eager to learn more about this enigmatic character.
