Mamie Laverock’s family recently provided a positive update on the progress of the When Calls the Heart actress's recovery journey.

"Mamie has successfully completed her major surgeries and the doctors have informed us that she is on the right track," shared Laverock's parents, Rob and Nicole Compton, on the GoFundMe page. "We couldn't be more relieved and grateful for all the support from everyone. Thank you!"

Earlier this month, 19-year-old Laverock experienced a medical emergency. Thanks to her mother's timely intervention, she was rushed to the hospital in time to save her life, as stated on the GoFundMe page.

After being transferred to a hospital in Vancouver, Canada, Laverock's situation became more serious. Her loved ones are by her side every day to provide support. They are seeking contributions to help cover the expenses of staying with her, which could extend for a month or longer.

Weeks later, Nicole and Rob shared that Laverock had been escorted out of a secure unit of the hospital and taken up to a balcony walkway, where she fell five stories. This fall resulted in life-threatening injuries for Laverock, who has since undergone multiple extensive surgeries and is currently on life support.

Her parents expressed, "We are all devastated and in shock during this intensely difficult time."

As of Thursday, May 30, we have successfully reached our goal of $30,000 CAD on GoFundMe. In fact, we have received over $32,000 CAD from the generous donations of more than 500 people.

Ever since Laverock was hospitalized, her fellow cast members and the Hallmark Channel have shown tremendous support and solidarity towards her.

A photo of Laverock as Rosaleen Sullivan on When Calls the Heart was shared alongside the message. "As a cherished member of our When Calls the Heart community, we send our thoughts and prayers to her and her family during this tough time. We have also made a donation to her GoFundMe page."

Lead actress of When Calls the Heart, Erin Krakow, who portrays Elizabeth Thornton on the show, also extended her well-wishes to the family and encouraged fans to show their support.

Krakow, 39, shared on Instagram on Monday, May 27, that she made a donation and encouraged others to do the same. She included a link in her bio for easy access. Alongside the post were screenshots of the GoFundMe page and photos of her and Laverock.

Laverock appeared in multiple episodes of the Hallmark Channel series across seasons 1, 2, and 10 from 2014 to 2023. Her role on When Calls the Heart led to her receiving various awards, such as Best Performance in a TV Series – Recurring Young Actress Ten and Under at the 2015 Young Artist Awards and Young Ensemble Cast in a Dramatic Series at the 2014 Joey Awards, Vancouver.
