Microsoft is scheduled to remove four titles from the Xbox Game Pass library in mid-December, as it does every month. The titles set for removal are Chained Echoes, Opus Magnum, Potion Craft: Alchemist Simulator, and Rubber Bandits, all of which will no longer be available in the catalog after December 15.
Microsoft has not given a reason for the departure of these games. Games are often removed for various reasons, such as the end of a business deal, licensing issues, and other possibilities.
The positive news is that if you are currently playing and enjoying any of the games set to be removed, you can purchase them at a 20% discount as part of your Game Pass membership benefits.
December is set to be a big month for Game Pass, with 12 new titles joining the catalog in the first half of the month. Xbox Game Pass Core members will also have new games to look forward to. Additionally, Xbox executive Tim Stuart has expressed Microsoft's interest in bringing Game Pass to PlayStation and Nintendo devices.
