Unveiling the Untold Connection Between Jesse Lally and Anna Nicole Smith

'The Valley' actor Jesse Lally shares the hidden story of his unexpected bond with Anna Nicole Smith, delving into their friendship and joint work ventures

The Valley star Jesse Lally shared his connection to the late Anna Nicole Smith during an appearance on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen. Lally, 43, revealed that he met Smith during a photoshoot for TrimSpa in Miami. They stayed friends for about a year and a half.

The TrimSpa commercial featuring Smith and Lally was filmed in the early 2000s. It showed them rolling around on a beach, cuddling in the water, and Lally even carried Smith on his back while kissing her neck in the steamy advertisement.

According to the commercial, Smith lost over 69 pounds by using the dietary supplement intended for weight loss.

"Want to stand out? Try TrimSpa and get noticed," said the voiceover as Smith and Lally enjoyed the beach.

Smith promoted TrimSpa from 2003 until she passed away from drug overdose at 39 in 2007. Even years later, Lally posted a nostalgic photo of himself with the famous Playboy model.

He captioned a December 2013 Instagram post with the hashtag #Tbt, keeping it classy with #annanicolesmith. In the photo, he and Smith are posing with their tongues out while wearing matching white bathrobes.

Jesse Lally (@jesselally) shared a post on her social media account.

During her modeling career, Smith gained attention for her second marriage to billionaire J. Howard Marshall, who was significantly older than her. Marshall passed away at 90 in 1995, just a year after they got married. There were accusations that Smith married him for his wealth, but she refuted these claims.

Smith had a son named Daniel who passed away at the age of 20 in 2006, from his previous relationship with Billy Wayne Smith. He also has a daughter named Dannielynn, who is 17 years old, from his past relationship with Larry Birkhead. Dannielynn recently had a fun day out with her father at the Kentucky Derby in Louisville, Kentucky.

Birkhead, who is 51 years old, shared exclusively with We during the event on May 4, "We are having a great time. Dannielynn is really enjoying herself, especially this year as she is getting more involved in the fashion side of the Derby. She even wore a dress that belonged to Janet Jackson on Friday and got a new haircut for Derby Day because she wanted to try out a different look."

When Dannielynn was a baby, Birkhead took legal action against Smith’s then-partner Howard K. Stern, who was named as the father on Dannielynn’s birth certificate. This was to establish Birkhead's rights as the father. After a well-known legal battle, the results of a paternity test were revealed in April 2007, confirming that Birkhead is indeed Dannielynn’s father.

In January 2020, Birkhead shared with Us that the public's perception of his relationship with Smith differs from the actual reality.

"People used to think that my relationship with Anna was just a one-night stand and I lucked out by winning the DNA lottery. In reality, it was a two-year relationship with its ups and downs," he shared. "But it was a wild love story."
