Monster Hunter Now has been available for a few weeks, and although the gameplay elements are not as extensive as those in a full-fledged Monster Hunter game, developer Niantic intends to introduce additional content over time. They also plan to host monthly events to ensure that players continue their hunting endeavors. Regarding upcoming events, the team has now confirmed the spooky October events.
Monster Hunter - Events in October
Tobi-Kadachi Weekend
In October, Monster Hunter Now has three events scheduled. The first event, Tobi-Kadachi weekend, starts on Friday, October 6 and concludes on Sunday, October 8, 2023. Throughout the event, additional Tobi-Kadachi will appear in the wilderness, but only at specific times. Specifically, on Friday, they will spawn between 5 pm to 8 pm.
Saturday from 1 pm to 4 pm.
Sunday from 1 pm to 4 pm.
For those who are interested in crafting and equipping the Kadachi armor set in Monster Hunter Now, these are the Equipment Skills that it comes with:
Reload Speed
Artful Dodger
Evade Extender
Thunder Attack
Thunder Resistance
Rathian and Pink Rathian Week
During the specified time period, players will have the opportunity to encounter the regular Rathian as well as the Pink Rathian in Monster Hunter Now. This event marks the first appearance of the Pink Rathian. It should be noted that these monsters will spawn more frequently between Monday, October 9 and Friday, October 13, until 5 p.m. Additionally, hunters who have achieved HR11 will benefit from even higher monster spawn rates during the following specific time slots:
Friday, October 13, 2023, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Saturday, October 14, 2023, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Sunday, October 15, 2023, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Players that have completed Chapter 9 can find Pink Rathian in the Forest Habitats.
Halloween Pumpkin Hunt
Limited details have been divulged by Niantic concerning the upcoming October event; however, mark your calendar for the Pumpkin Hunt running from October 25 to October 31. Expect spine-chilling alterations to the world map, adding an eerie Halloween touch. Moreover, players will have the opportunity to craft and don some specially-themed Halloween equipment during this period.
Finally, there will be some mysterious change to Kulu-Ya-Ku (We suspect it will be holding a pumpkin instead of its traditional boulder).
Monster Hunter Now is available for mobile devices.
