Throughout the Dragon Ball mythos, numerous eerie villains pose a threat not only to the Z-Fighters but to all life in the universe. However, one villain from Dragon Ball GT stands out as the most unsettling, despite the fact that he is the complete opposite of another terrifying villain, Majin Buu.
Majin Buu is an ancient cosmic being originally controlled by the villainous sorcerer Bibidi long before the events of Dragon Ball. At that time, Majin Buu was pure evil and possessed the strength to consume gods, such as the Lord of Lords, and obliterate planets effortlessly. Eventually, the combined might of various divine entities managed to force Buu into a potentially eternal slumber. However, he was awakened by the sorcerer Babidi during Dragon Ball Z's aptly named Majin Buu Saga. During this saga, Buu demonstrated unprecedented abilities, including targeted blasts capable of annihilating Earth in a single strike, the power to transform others into food, particularly chocolate, and the ability to absorb individuals and assimilate their physical traits and powers. In essence, Majin Buu was virtually unstoppable, a trait he shares with the aforementioned villain from Dragon Ball GT, even though their abilities are polar opposites.
Majin Buu Absorbs His Victims Into Himself, While Baby Does the Opposite
In Dragon Ball GT season 1, episode 24, Goku, Trunks, and Pan find themselves in need of a break on a planet after their encounter with the incredibly creepy villain, Baby. Baby, a powerful Machine Mutant from Dragon Ball GT, has just undergone a re-birth and is now on the loose. Similar to Buu, Baby possesses a formidable power level and has the ability to transform into a sentient goo, making him nearly invulnerable. In this particular episode, Baby is stealthily stalking the Z-Fighters on the planet by possessing innocent individuals.
Each time Baby possesses someone, he absorbs their life force and gains a portion of their power. This is how Baby continues to grow stronger, while conveniently remaining hidden and pursuing his enemies. Unlike Majin Buu, who absorbs people by engulfing them with goo and assimilating their appearance and abilities, Baby's method is quite the opposite. He transforms into a goo-like form and infiltrates his victims, draining them completely before discarding their lifeless bodies.
Both villains in Dragon Ball GT are composed of goo, making them the most repulsive adversaries in their respective eras. Additionally, they both possess the ability to absorb the power and life energy from their victims. However, it is intriguing to note that despite performing similar actions, they carry out these acts in completely contrary manners. This stark contrast serves to highlight how the creepiest villain in Dragon Ball GT, unlike Majin Buu, is the complete opposite in nature.
