Immortals of Aveum offers players an incredibly immersive first-person experience, revolving around the journey of Jak, a young man who unexpectedly discovers his extraordinary ability to harness a formidable form of magic. As the captivating narrative unfolds, Jak must harness his newfound magical prowess to vanquish foes and overcome intricate puzzles.
While most of the puzzles in Immortals of Aveum are easily decipherable, there are a few that will undoubtedly leave players pondering. Within the enchanting realm of the Temple of Aristeya, Jak encounters two distinct puzzles, each unlocking separate doors upon completion. Progressing beyond the initial door and venturing deeper into the temple proves relatively straightforward. However, opening the subsequent door within the adjacent room may pose a greater challenge for some players.
The Temple Of Aristeya Door Puzzle #1 Solution
Jak will journey to the Temple of Aristeya in Chapter 3, right after being transported to Yltheum against his will. In order to reach the entrance, he must take a leap into the hole created by the Hand of Sandrakk in the preceding cutscene, just before the 'Follow the Hand of Sandrakk' objective initiates. Upon reaching the bottom, continuing towards the northeast will lead to a spacious area where the initial door puzzle awaits.
The door is situated on the northern side of the room and can be unlocked by striking four individual magic crystals with attacks matching their respective colors. The blue sigil enables activation of the blue crystals, while the red sigil enables activation of the red crystals.
When approaching the door and looking upward, a red crystal becomes visible. To obtain an improved perspective of this crystal, players should backtrack to the top of the stairs.
Turning to the west, a blue crystal can be seen at the top of a partially ruined white structure.
Turning east, a second blue crystal can be seen at the top of another white structure.
To obtain the ultimate red crystal, players need to travel south and leap over the gap towards the eastern stairs. Up ahead, the red crystal becomes visible just above the obstructed archway.
After successfully striking all the crystals with their corresponding colored sigil, the door granting access to the inner chambers of the Temple of Aristeya will unlock.
The Temple Of Aristeya Door Puzzle #2 Solution
After triumphing over all the adversaries in the subsequent section, Jak will encounter a radiant green door. In order to access its contents, players need to ascend the staircase situated immediately to the right of the entrance and make their way onto the suspended circular platform above the lower level. At this juncture, players will have the opportunity to interact with a luminous green orb, thereby granting them access to the coveted Limpets.
To extend the open duration of the glowing green door, players need to target the blue crystal positioned directly above it using the blue sigil. This action will cause the door to elevate, but it closes too quickly for Jak to pass through. To prolong its open state, Jak must first shoot the blue crystal and then promptly launch Limpets at the door. When executed accurately, the rapid ascent and descent of the glowing green door will be significantly slowed down, enabling players to safely traverse beneath it and advance into the next area.
Immortals of Aveum can be enjoyed on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
