In the season's inaugural episode, viewers were introduced to Oohashi Rei, a diligent employee at a small company. After a challenging day at work, she sought solace in the virtual world of Revolution, a popular dating simulation video game, until she dozed off. But when Rei eventually opened her eyes, she found herself mysteriously transported to the vibrant setting of the game's Royal Academy, now assuming the role of Rae Taylor.

Without hesitation, Rae fearlessly expressed her deep affection for Claire Françoise, the antagonist of the story. Despite Claire's disconcerted reaction and attempts to intimidate Rae, rather than dampening her spirits, this only fueled Rae's enthusiasm for the upcoming academic year. Encouraging Claire to embrace a more ruthless persona, Rae embraced the challenges that lay ahead with unwavering fervor.

Misha Jur warned Rae about getting involved with Claire due to her prestigious family background. However, Rae dismissed the importance of their social differences.

After nearly a week, Claire was overwhelmed and broke down in tears due to Rae's unwavering strength against the bullying. Misha cautioned Rae about the possibility of pushing Claire away and advised her to alter her approach to become someone Claire could not overlook.

The three princes of the Bauer Kingdom, namely Rod Bauer, Thane Bauer, and Yu Bauer, were introduced during one of Rae and Claire's interactions. It was during this encounter that Rae inadvertently disclosed Claire's attraction towards Thane. Caught off guard, Claire hastily refuted any romantic interest in him, prompting Thane to leave.

Thane's insecurity, stemming from feeling overshadowed by his brothers, made him a challenging person to handle.

Rae proposed apologizing to Thane, but Claire, overcome with anger, vowed to continue bullying Rae until she gave in. She even went as far as challenging Rae that if Rae scored lower on the exam, she would be forced to leave the academy.
