Having traveled extensively throughout the past three seasons, it was exciting for us to contemplate Jack's return home and explore the implications it would have on his life.

This decision allowed us to reintroduce Cathy into the storyline, enabling us to revisit their relationship in a fresh and unique manner. Additionally, it provided the opportunity to witness Jack back in D.C., experiencing a glimpse of what we saw in Season 1. However, we also wanted to grant ourselves the luxury of a twist when Jack steps down and embarks on a new journey. Ultimately, we felt this poetic ending perfectly captured the essence of bringing Jack back home while acknowledging his unwavering nature to follow his instincts.
