Minecraft boasts an extensive lineup of collaborations that extend beyond just games. In 2017, players were treated to an unexpected collaboration between Power Rangers and Minecraft, which introduced character skins of the mighty heroes and their nemeses. Sci-fi enthusiasts also got a taste of the Minecraft-Doctor Who crossover with a DLC featuring skins inspired by the beloved BBC series. Additionally, Minecraft offers DLCs for Stranger Things, Mass Effect, Dungeons and Dragons, and Mega Man X, proving that the Minecraft universe knows no bounds.

Minecraft has launched a new DLC called Disney Worlds of Adventure, priced at $7.99. This DLC features a unique map, allowing players to explore recreated locations from popular Disney films such as Aladdin, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, The Little Mermaid, The Lion King, Beauty and the Beast, and Alice in Wonderland. Each location, including Agrabah, Pride Rock, and the Wonderland Maze, can be explored in the blocky world of Minecraft. Additionally, the DLC introduces Minecraft versions of beloved Disney characters, including iconic villains like Jafar, Ursula, and the Evil Queen.

This isn't the first collaboration between Minecraft and Disney. In 2020, they released the Minecraft x Star Wars DLC, which allowed players to interact with characters and visit locations from the original trilogy and The Mandalorian series. The next year, to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Walt Disney World, the Minecraft x Walt Disney World Magic Kingdom Adventure DLC was released. This DLC enabled players to explore famous attractions like the Jungle Cruise and the Haunted Mansion while meeting beloved characters from Pixar and Disney. In 2022, Minecraft partnered with Lightyear for a DLC based on Pixar's Buzz Lightyear movie, bringing the space ranger's adventure to the game.

Minecraft continues its regular updates and introduction of new content while also incorporating new crossovers. Following the release of the major Tales and Trails update, Minecraft recently experimented with a significant change to diamonds in one of its latest snapshots, resulting in potential gameplay implications. Additionally, Mojang has introduced another crossover featuring the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, who now confront blocky renditions of their archenemies within the Minecraft universe. The game is accessible on various platforms, including Mobile, PC, PS4, Switch, Xbox One, and legacy platforms.
