Details on the official crossover between Call of Duty and the popular superhero series The Boys have been confirmed. The current season of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is in its fourth season and the fifth season is expected to begin early next month.

Call of Duty has previously collaborated with various films and TV shows, including Rambo and Ghostface in Black Ops Cold War in 2020, and more recently, Shredder from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles in Modern Warfare 2. The partnership with The Boys was initially hinted at in the Season 4 trailer of Call of Duty, which premiered at Geoff Keighley's Summer Game Fest last month. With the mid-season update for Call of Duty now unveiled, three characters from The Boys will be featured in the game.

In the Season 4 Reloaded reveal of Call of Duty, exciting details have emerged about The Boys' collaboration with the popular multiplayer shooter. Homelander, Starlight, and Black Noir from The Boys will be joining the world of Call of Duty through limited-time operator bundles. Each bundle, priced at 2,400 COD Points, will not only include the three iconic characters but also provide players with three weapon blueprints, weapon charms, loading screens, emblems, and more. Starting with Starlight's bundle on July 12, fans can get their hands on these thrilling additions, followed by Homelander's bundle on July 16 and Black Noir's bundle on July 20.

The collaboration between The Boys and Call of Duty goes beyond mere aesthetics. Season 4 Reloaded introduces a time-limited field upgrade called Temp-V, inspired by the super serum in the show. This new upgrade grants players one of four superpowers at random. The Charge Jump ability propels players across the map, causing damage upon landing. Meanwhile, the Teleport ability allows players to quickly dash forward, reminiscent of Tracer's Blink in Overwatch. When it comes to dealing damage, Laser Vision allows players to obliterate their opponents just like Homelander, while Electric Shockwave inflicts electric damage and can disable vehicles.

The inclusion of Temp-V in Call of Duty marks the first time a crossover event introduces a field upgrade to the game. With the addition of Homelander, Starlight, Black Noir, and Temp-V spicing up the action in Warzone, fans of both The Boys and Call of Duty can expect an exciting experience with Season 4 Reloaded.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and Call of Duty: Warzone are available now on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.
