In 2023, Darrington Press, the official publication company for Critical Role, has been highly active. With multiple board games and role-playing systems in development, they have now announced another project. Caper Cards: Bells Hells, a card game inspired by Critical Role Campaign 3's Bells Hells and their heist at the Twilight Mirror Museum, is set to be released later this year. This cooperative card game combines elements of blackjack with unique rules and powers, as players aim to gather as much treasure as possible without exceeding a total of 21. This exciting new Critical Role card game will be available for purchase starting in October, priced at just $15.

Caper Cards: Bells Hells showcases the main Campaign crew along with Dorian, the esteemed long-term Critical Role guest character portrayed by Robbie Daymond. Each member of the crew possesses unique abilities that present exciting opportunities for players to achieve significant victories. Additionally, the game includes 10 distinctive Reward cards that have the power to alter the game's direction. Notably, there is a high-stakes Risk card featuring Ruidus, the dreaded red moon from Campaign 3, which has become a source of fear for avid Critical Role followers. Furthermore, each card showcases captivating and original artwork depicting the beloved characters of Critical Role.

Darrington Press is currently developing two additional board games: Queen by Midnight and Guardians of Matrimonia. Queen by Midnight is a deckbuilding game with a princess theme, where players compete in an intense battle to become the next queen. On the other hand, Guardians of Matrimonia is a cooperative game centered around planning and executing an extravagant high fantasy wedding. Queen by Midnight will be available for $70 starting from Gen Con in August and onwards. As for Guardians of Matrimonia, its release date is set for early 2024, with the price yet to be disclosed by Critical Role.
