The "Repaint Your Heart" DLC pack introduces playable characters Goro Akechi and Kasumi Yoshizawa, who team up with the protagonist to investigate enigmatic graffiti in Tokyo.
Atlus has shared more details about the second kingdom in Persona 5 Tactica. This time around, players will follow the Phantom Thieves as they embark on a new adventure in the Metaverse. The setting for this adventure is a peculiar world inspired by the French Revolution. Alongside this new world, two new characters named Erina and Toshiro are also introduced in Tactica. An exciting new trailer from Atlus gives a glimpse into the various locations where the Phantom Thieves will battle against their enemies.
The trailer for Persona 5 Tactica showcases a kingdom ruled by Marie, a bride-themed leader who has managed to control some of the other thieves. It also highlights intense cutscenes featuring intense battles between the Phantom Thieves, Erina, and Marie. Additionally, the trailer offers a sneak peek at the challenging boss fight against Marie. Upon defeating Marie, the Phantoms are transported to a completely different kingdom, influenced by Japan in the mid-1800s.
Yoshiki, the ruler of this kingdom, initially portrays himself as a benevolent figure resembling Buddha. However, beneath this facade lies his true nature filled with anger, which becomes evident during battles. The kingdom's citizens are constantly monitored by security cameras, and if they oppose Yoshiki, they are forced into physical labor. To protect the citizens, the Phantom Thieves adopt disguises of ninjas, geishas, and samurai, as depicted in a screenshot where they are seen enjoying a party in kimonos.
The trailer also introduces a glimpse of Toshiro's character. Toshiro, an ordinary citizen, is rescued by Erina, Joker, and Morgana after they find him imprisoned by Marie. Toshiro is a member of the Diet government body and attempts to negotiate with Yoshiki's forces but fails, highlighting his unfamiliarity with the Metaverse. Additionally, the familiar location of Leblanc from Persona 5 makes a surprising appearance in this new kingdom, transformed into a feudal Japanese setting, much to the surprise of the Phantom Thieves.
The trailer concludes with a brief preview of the "Repaint Your Heart" DLC pack, which confirms the addition of playable characters Goro Akechi and Kasumi Yoshizawa in Persona 5 Tactica. This DLC introduces a scenario where the three characters unite to investigate a series of mysterious graffiti popping up in Tokyo, including one depicting Arsene. Additionally, the DLC can be played independently from the main story of Tactica, as indicated by a screenshot of the main menu.
Persona 5 Tactica is set to launch on November 17th for PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
