After returning her Neil Lane diamond, Gabby Windey is taking things slow with her girlfriend, Robby Hoffman.
"I feel like I was a bit too caught up in the 'Bachelor world.' It feels a bit outdated," the 32-year-old former Bachelorette exclusively told We when discussing her engagement to Erich Schwer during season 19. "However, at the time, I was fully committed because it was just part of the experience. I didn't allow myself to think outside the box, and I have no regrets. But now, I'm open to evolving and changing my mindset."
Windey, while promoting her partnership with Cupshe, expressed her desire to eventually get married. She believes that marriage is a deeper commitment that brings two people closer together. However, she does not want to rush into it right away. Currently, she is focused on adjusting to her new life and taking the time to process the significant changes that have occurred in the past couple of years. She wants to enjoy this phase of her life and wants to be in the beginning of a relationship, with exciting things to look forward to.
Windey then quipped, “I feel bad for people who got married at 18, like, what else is there in life? You already did the biggest day of your life, you know what I mean?”
In August, Robby Hoffman and Gabby Windey confirmed their relationship, just months after she ended her engagement with Schwer.
"The wonderful aspect of our relationship is that we are both women. It's like we are best friends, and our conversations can go on for hours," Windey excitedly shared with Us. "We share similar perspectives and life experiences, creating an ideal relationship where friendship takes precedence, but also with a deep connection and attraction. It truly doesn't get any better than this."
Windey further expressed that the response to her initial public commitment with a partner of the same gender has been overwhelmingly positive.
"I didn't have any expectations because I was doing it for myself," she explained about her decision to make the reveal on The View. She also mentioned that she has developed a healthy relationship with social media, which is something that many former contestants from The Bachelor and The Bachelorette struggle with. The positive comments she has received mean a lot to her, with people reaching out to her via direct messages to express how cute she and her partner are. They often encounter and connect with many people while constantly traveling. She understands that queer relationships are not commonly witnessed, but believes that when people see them, they can recognize their genuine desire to celebrate love.
Furthermore, Windey has the support of Hoffman for her first post-Bachelorette partnership, which involves a holiday collection with Cupshe.

She expressed her belief that the content is highly versatile, appealing to a wide range of individuals. The luxurious and opulent materials, along with the sparkly or green and red hues, evoke a strong sense of holiday cheer and make one naturally think of Christmas. Therefore, she believes that the content will not only put people in the mood to celebrate but also help them fully embrace the holiday spirit.
Of the collection consisting of 49 pieces available in sizes ranging from XS to XL, Windey expressed her fondness for the little black dress and the faux fur jacket.
