Unveiling Fallout 76's Permanent Update and Season 13 Rewards

Get ready for Fallout 76's Season 13, arriving with a major update in June While the name might be misleading, this season brings exclusive Scoreboard rewards that will eventually retire, but some will be available through endgame vendors and Atomic Shop reruns

Season 13 of Fallout 76 is set to launch alongside the Once In A Blue Moon update. While the update will be a permanent addition to the game, the Season 13 Scoreboard and its rewards will eventually retire. However, some of the rewards will still be available through endgame vendors and Atomic Shop reruns.

The Season is expected to begin in mid-June and will last for approximately 12 weeks. Despite the recent focus on Fallout's extraterrestrial enemies, Season 13 will shift its attention to cryptid monsters from American folklore, specifically those that are associated with movie stars.

Season 13 of Fallout 76 is set to offer a special treat for players who love building C.A.M.P.s, while the Once In A Blue Moon update will cater to the rest of the gaming community. This season is centered around movie stars, Hollywood theaters, and iconic cryptid villains. Players can expect to find an array of furniture and appliances that are reminiscent of movie theater stage settings, such as cameras, projectors, red carpets, floodlights, marquee signs, and foldable seats.

One of the standout features of Season 13 is the Scoreboard's unique shelter, the Sound Stage, which provides players with an additional interior location to expand their C.A.M.P.S. Furthermore, the scoreboard will introduce a new C.A.M.P. ally, though it may be difficult to compete with the ally from Season 12, which offers a temporary XP boost.

The armor and weapons skins from Season 13's scoreboard boast unique and eye-catching styles, with shiny materials that make them stand out. The standard armor sets in Fallout 76 will receive a patriotic makeover, featuring red and blue accents accompanied by white stars, while the Power Armor sets will be completely covered in gold, including the unique variants. Additionally, a select few weapons will also receive a golden skin in Season 13. Players can also look forward to wearing costumes inspired by various movie genres over their standard armor sets.

While previous Scoreboards have included player icons, resources, and currency packages, one exciting item has yet to be revealed for the upcoming Season: a featured weapon. This trend began with Season 10's introduction of the Auto-Axe, followed by the Nuka-Launcher and Cold-Shoulder in subsequent Seasons. Although leaks and datamines have yet to reveal any details about Season 13's unique weapon, it's a safe bet that players can expect something new and exciting to add to their arsenal.

Outside of the Season 13 Scoreboard, the upcoming Once In A Blue Moon update is set to take center stage, bringing with it a wave of new Public Events that will occur frequently for a limited time. According to the latest Fallout 76 PTS, players will also be introduced to two new cryptid monsters, as well as a range of unique weapons and revamped versions of several existing locations.

In addition, the Once In A Blue Moon update will ease some of the requirements for initiating expeditions, allowing players to join more public teams for these challenges. With the new Scoreboard, exciting events and quests, expeditions to conquer, and seasonal events making a return, Season 13 promises to be packed with plenty of activities for players to enjoy.

Fallout 76 is available now for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
