Angel Carter, the twin sister of Aaron Carter, is extending an invitation to fans to honor her deceased sibling. Posting on Instagram on Friday, October 13, Angel, 35, shared that Aaron's portrait has been placed at Forest Lawn Hollywood Hills. Recognizing Aaron's immense love for his fans, Angel believes that having a final resting place for him will hold significant importance and allow everyone to commemorate his life. Angel consequently welcomes and encourages visitors to come and share their cherished memories, emphasizing the need to always remember Aaron's true essence.
Angel posted a picture of the sign attached to the wall inside the mausoleum. The sign conveyed a heartfelt message, stating "In Loving Memory" and honoring Aaron as a beloved brother, son, friend, and father to Prince Carter.
In November 2022, the news of Aaron's passing at 34 years old surfaced. The well-known rapper, famous for his hit song "I Want Candy," leaves behind his siblings, including Angel and older brother Nick Carter, as well as his son Prince, whom he had with Melanie Martin.
"To my twin... My love for you knows no bounds. Your absence will be deeply felt," Angel expressed on Instagram. "You were my source of laughter and kindness, Aaron, and I hold countless precious memories of our time together. I vow to cherish them forever."
She added, "I find solace in knowing that you have found peace. I will carry your memory with me for the rest of my days, eagerly awaiting the reunion we will have one day in the afterlife."

One month later, Angel planned to channel her grief by launching a mental health initiative in Aaron’s honor.
The passing of Aaron was the most devastating moment of my life. I have loved him from the moment we were born... it feels as though a part of my very being has vanished. However, despite the immense pain, his death has ignited a passion within me," she expressed on Instagram in December 2022. "I feel a strong calling and responsibility to support other families and continue the discussion to dismantle the stigmatization surrounding mental illness. With the backing of my loved ones, we are organizing a benefit concert to raise awareness for mental health, and all proceeds will be donated to @onoursleevesofficial."
At that time, Angel added, "I have come to realize that the pain never truly subsides and remind myself to take things one step at a time. I sincerely hope that you can join me in taking this crucial next step... in honor of Aaron's memory."
Aaron's death certificate revealed that he had been cremated. Angel, according to the legal document obtained by TMZ, held onto Aaron's ashes until a final resting place was decided upon. Earlier this year, the Carters came together to bury the ashes. Nick, 43, expressed the ongoing difficulty for himself and his family in an August interview with Entertainment Tonight. He acknowledged that the process of dealing with Aaron's passing is still ongoing and that they may never fully get over it. However, they are actively trying to find ways to transform this tragic situation within their family into something meaningful.
