In addition to the note, Culpo also posted supposed text messages between herself and Berrios from February. The messages seem to disprove his claim that the two had ended their relationship in January.

In a supposed conversation on January 31, Culpo questioned the NFL star, "So, you actually want to be with me?" In response, he affirmed, "Yes, I do want to be with you."

In another alleged text conversation dated February 11, the two individuals appeared to be discussing the public rumors surrounding their relationship. Culpo expressed her concern, texting Berrios, "I sincerely hope that the situation doesn't escalate any further, but unfortunately, I cannot control that." In response, Berrios reassured her that he would "do everything within [his] capacity to ensure" that the situation does not worsen.

On Tuesday, June 27, Berrios released a video where he addressed the accusations of cheating against him.

"I have no intention of instigating or provoking anything. My sincere desire is for all of this to come to an end, and for everyone to move forward and pursue their own happiness," expressed the football player in an honest Instagram Story clip. "I was in a two-year relationship, which was positive and healthy. Towards the end, we had discussions where we acknowledged that things weren't working out. That's why we decided to part ways back in January."

Berrios further elaborated, "There were no external factors influencing our decision. It wasn't about anyone else, for that matter. We simply realized that we weren't compatible, and that's perfectly fine."

Culpo, on her end, had previously utilized social media in March to announce the end of her relationship with Berrios.

"I will be relocating to a new apartment. However, I have been delaying the process of retrieving my belongings from my previous residence in New Jersey. Moving out of a long-term relationship and shared living space is a challenging ordeal," she expressed in a YouTube video during that period.

One month later, Culpo shared with her fans that the separation had been incredibly difficult for her and had not concluded in a positive manner. She expressed that a significant amount of trust had been shattered. However, she acknowledged her gratitude for the incredible support system she had and conveyed her heartfelt appreciation for the love and support she received from everyone. Culpo conveyed her awe for the unceasing amazement brought about by the steadfastness of this community, as she shared these sentiments through her Instagram Story.

Berrios was spotted at a Miami restaurant in May with TikTok sensation Alix Earle, causing dating rumors. Additionally, Earle, 22, and Berrios were seen together at the Palm Tree Music Festival recently.

However, on Monday, June 26, Culpo seemed to indirectly criticize Earle and Berrios in a TikTok video that has since been deleted.

"Once the love bombing is over, give me a quick call. I've got your back, #girlsgirl," Culpo wrote as the caption of the trending video. In the clip, she can be seen lip-syncing with the subtitle, "This is how I react when the new attention seeker realizes the truth."

Following the video's internet fame, Culpo later discussed the clip in a separate TikTok Story.

"I apologize for the unnecessary uproar on the Internet. It was not as serious as it was made out to be," she remarked. "My friends have been sending texts expressing concern, asking if I am alright. I assure you, I am perfectly fine. The online world can be unpredictable, but we are managing well."
